Few wrongs are more devastating, and few are more often buried — by silence, by shame, and by the institutions that were in a position to prevent them. I represent survivors of sexual abuse in civil litigation, holding accountable those responsible, including the institutions that enabled or looked away. This work I handle with discretion, without pressure, and with the care and privacy it demands.
Personal injury
When someone is seriously hurt through no fault of their own, the consequences reach into every part of their life — their health, their work, their family, their future. I represent people whose lives have been permanently altered by another’s negligence or recklessness. The other side is typically an insurer whose job is to minimize what your case is worth. Mine is to prove to a jury what it’s actually worth.
Medical malpractice
We place profound trust in the people who care for us, and when that trust is broken through negligence, the harm is often catastrophic and irreversible. I represent patients and families harmed by preventable medical errors — not the difficult outcomes that medicine sometimes carries despite everyone’s best efforts, but the injuries that competent care would have avoided. These cases are demanding, expensive to build, and heavily defended. I take on only the ones where the medicine and the record support it.
Consumer protection
Companies count on the fact that most people won’t push back — that the cost of fighting will outweigh the harm, so the harm gets absorbed and the practice continues. I represent consumers who were deceived, overcharged, or defrauded by businesses that assumed no one would hold them accountable. Individually, these cases are often about a sum that a company would rather you forget, but I take them seriously. The point isn’t just to recover what was taken; it’s to make the practice too expensive to continue.
Employment
Most people spend more of their waking hours at work than anywhere else, which is precisely why mistreatment there cuts so deep. I represent employees who have faced discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or wrongful termination — people who did their jobs and were punished for who they are, for speaking up, or for blowing the whistle. By the time most employees call a lawyer, the company has been building its file for months with HR, counsel, and the paperwork all on its side. Business
Some of the most serious wrongs happen in business: a partner who breaches trust, a contract that’s never honored, a relationship that’s exploited. I represent people and companies in disputes where something real is at stake — money, ownership, the survival of the business itself. At bottom, a lawsuit is a business decision. I litigate these cases the way my clients make those decisions: weighing cost, risk, and leverage at every step.
