Mark Schweikert is an accomplished trial lawyer with two decades of experience prosecuting and defending civil cases in domestic and international arbitrations and in federal and state courts.  He has successfully represented clients in a wide array of complex and high-stakes civil matters, ranging from catastrophic personal injuries – to sexual harassment, abuse, and exploitation traumas – to employment, insurance, and consumer disputes – to general business and class action litigation.

Mark's mission is to help those who need it most by vindicating their rights, holding wrongdoers legally accountable, and winning meaningful relief for his clients.  He only represents clients he believes in.  He only takes cases he believes he can win.  And he only advances causes that will help his clients and, ultimately, serve the greater good.

Mark firmly believes in enforcing the rule of law to promote positive changes within public and private institutions and throughout society at large.  He is not afraid to risk it all to shine a spotlight on issues festering within the shadows of our democracy.  Whether you're a victim of a catastrophic injury, a survivor of sexual abuse, or an exploited consumer or business, Mark and his firm have the experience, tenacity, and -- most importantly -- the passion to deliver the justice you deserve.

Recently, Mark's team prevailed in a yearslong battle against the Miami-Dade school system for deliberately turning a blind eye and deaf ear to repeated reports that a teacher was sexually abusing underage students entrusted in his care.  At the end of trial in October 2021, the jury returned a six million-dollar verdict ($6,000,000.00) in favor of our inspiringly courageous client.

Aside from private practice, Mark serves on the board of directors for Crime Stoppers of Miami-Dade and The Florida Keys.  He also chairs a professional grievance committee, which investigates complaints of alleged ethical violations by attorneys and makes appropriate recommendations to the Florida Bar.  He enjoys volunteering with non-profit organizations,  representing pro bono clients in court, and annoying his neighbors with his amateur abilities as a musician.

Before starting his own law firm, Mark was a name partner in a preeminent litigation boutique in Florida, a litigator in a powerhouse international law firm, and a federal law clerk for three judges in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Originally from Michigan, Mark has lived and worked in New York City, Germany, Italy, and Japan, but is proud to call Miami home.
